Happy First Birthday to Tabby's Place!

Tabby's Place is this wonderful cat sanctuary in Ringoes, New Jersey, which only takes in the most unwanted cats, committing to take care of the cats no matter what medical needs they may have for the life of each cat (if they can't adopt the cat out to a loving home.) The place is truly a labor of love. This is the email the founder sent out about the adventures of their first year "in business." Do click on the link to see all that Tabby's Place has been doing and to learn more about the wonderful kitties there.

---"Friends of Tabby's Place,

I don't know if you will find it as hard to believe as I do, but ourGrand Opening was one year ago today (October 5). I can still remember the 4 1/2 years it took to go from my conception of a sanctuary for unwanted cats to its reality last year. Looking back over our first year of operation, I am quite pleased with what Tabby's Place has accomplished. We have, indeed, accepted the most unwanted cats, those in the most hopeless and desperate of situations. Because of this, we have many SpecialNeeds Cats, who require a high level of medical care.

We are proud of the quality of medical care we have provided, though we are always looking for ways to improve. None of this would have been possible without the help of you, our supporters. Please take a few minutes to visit our BirthdayWeb Site http://www.tabbysplace.org/

You can read about our accomplishments, about what it took to make our first year happen and you can learn how you can help us celebrate our first birthday, by continuing to support our mission.
